Quality Policy
Our company's Policy is the cornerstone for achieving its goals. It remains stable and forms the basis for the implementation of the Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System of our employees.
Kedom Lubricants produces lubricant products according to customer needs and obligations arising from concluded agreements, without in any case violating the terms of Legislation and regulations, as imposed by Greek and International Legislation.
Our Company's Goal is:
- a) the provision of high quality products, so that customer requirements are fully satisfied, while maintaining a high level of efficiency.
- b) Respect for people and the protection of the environment and ensuring excellent working conditions for all employees.
To achieve our goal, the company has personnel with long experience and high-level training, excellent organization and modern technology machinery-instruments. All executives are responsible for ensuring the company's commitment, while making a continuous effort to improve the products and services provided.
Based on the above, Management may modify either this policy or the Integrated Management System, with the ultimate goal of continuous improvement of the Management System.

Quality Control & Laboratory
Control of our lubricant products
Before our products reach the consumer, their strict control is carried out in a fully equipped laboratory, with latest generation devices. The control is carried out by experienced scientific personnel, who daily perform a multitude of analyses on finished products as well as raw materials. The control of the products, as well as the entire production process of the company, is done in harmony with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 quality assurance system and ensures stability in product quality.
Visual control
Purity, homogeneity, clarity and control for foreign bodies.
Kinematic viscosity
Measurement of all products at 40°C and 100°C.
Specific Gravity
Lubricant density relative to water.
Pour Point
Pour point in cold temperatures. ASTM D97.
CCS (Cold Cranking Simulator)
Dynamic viscosity in an engine simulator at cold temperatures for engine lubricants.
TBN (Total Base Number)
Total Base Number for alkalinity measurement. ASTM D2896.
Noack Volatility
Volatility loss percentage at extreme high temperatures and engine conditions.
Karl Fischer
Moisture content in all products using the Karl Fischer method.
FTIR Spectroscopy
Infrared Spectroscopy for quantitative and qualitative control of product composition.
Water separation
Separation rate from water for the control of marine lubricants. ASTM D1401.
Anti-foaming ability
Measurement of anti-foaming ability under turbulence conditions. ASTM D892.
Flash Point
Open and closed type flash point. ASTM D92 & D93.
Solid Residue
Amount of solid residue in lubricants after use.
Sulphated Ash
Amount of sulphated ash for DPF filter protection. ASTM D874.
Brookfield Viscosity
Low-temperature viscosity measurement for transmissions, gear oils and hydraulics.
We are able to provide our customers with every product with the best possible quality and stability. A full sample warehouse is maintained, which is subject to the necessary quality control and there is traceability for every batch of products, from the start of production until their delivery to each of our customers. All procedures are in line with the strict regulations of an annually audited quality system ISO 9001:2008, as well with our need for an efficient, functional and qualitative production process.
